LDAR
- Leak Detection & Repair
This module is designed to track the testing and inspection information for equipment
(compressor seals, valves, flanges, plugs, etc.) that releases fugitive emissions. In
addition, this module will aid in calculating SARA 313 TCRR releases by documenting all
fugitive emission test points. This module is designed to be used with a hand held
computer (i.e., data logger). Spreadsheet data entry is also supported.
Features
- Calculates annual emissions using correlation
equations, SOCMI or Leak/No Leak factors. View emissions using all
three methods as a comparison.
- Emissions can be speciated and posted
directly to the EPOCH Form R Module.
- Provides a full graphical analysis package
for viewing: Pie charts of leaking sources by vendor and process unit;
Bar charts displaying the number of leakers by month for the plant or
single process unit.
- Uploads information from hand held data
loggers and produces quality control reports on the information to be
loaded into the database.
- When uploading sources, validate the input
file before updating the database.
- Provides an automatic interface to hand held
computers. View or print the sources to be sent to the hand held
computer before sending. Downloads only those sources that must be
tested before the end of the next monitoring period.
- Locate sources based on process unit, source
type, route number, leaking sources and unsafe or difficult to
monitor.
- Renumber tags and retain all previous test
results and other tag information.
- Allows for leaking tags to be placed on a
"delayed repair status". Keeps a delayed repair history or log file.
- Includes a complete Regulatory Requirements
Analyzer. Users designate which regulations are applicable (i.e. HON,
Subpart VV, TNRCC, etc.) and the software automatically determines
skip periods, leak retest provisions and changes in monitoring periods
based on performance.
- Calculates percent leakers for Valves,
Connectors and Pumps in accordance with the complicated HON formulas.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and graphs on the data
used to calculate annual emissions. Send reports to the screen,
printer, ASCII text file, Lotus®, and Excel®.
- Utilizes the same Chemical Database used for
the EPOCH Chemical Inventory, 313 Form R, MSDS and Tanks Modules.
- Download sources to be tested based on any
combination of Process, Route Number, Source Type, and status (i.e.
leaking, delayed repair, difficult to monitor).
- Includes drop down lists for Source Type,
Valve Type, Connector Type, Flange Material, Pressure Class, Chemical
Name, Vendor ID and Monitoring Exemption Code.
- Stores an unlimited number of leak re-test
results.
- Reports indicate all source that are
currently leaking and indicate the number of days since the leak was
discovered.
- Stores data for visual leak inspections.
Benefits
- Save money on testing by letting the software
determine the frequency for each source.
- Report lower Form R emissions by calculating
emissions using the most advanced techniques.
- Document compliance with various state and
federal regulations.
- Aids in pollution prevention efforts by
supporting analysis of leakers by process and equipment vendor.
